Mr. Andre J.A.D. Alip is a seasoned human resource management practitioner over thirty years of experience gained from various industries, including hotel and restaurant services, theme park operations, automotive sales and services, textile & garments manufacturing, cement manufacturing and management consulting services.
As HR practitioner, he has handled all areas of Human Resources, namely: Human Resources Planning, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources Information Systems, Organizational Development, Employee Engagement, Compensation & Benefits, Labor & Employee Relations and Training & Development.
As Labor Relations practitioner, he has participated in several CBA negotiations representing management.
As an Educator, he has taught in several leading educational institutions. Currently, he is a part time faculty member of the DLS-College of St Benilde, the Lyceum of the Philippines University and Kalayaan College. He is also presently a member of the following: Advisory Board for Tourism and Hospitality Education of the College of Hospitality and Institution Management of the Our Lady of Fatima University, Industry Advisory Board of the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management of the Emilio Aguinaldo College as well as the Advisory Board of the Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management of the Far Eastern University.
He has performed other functions such as general administration, security services, community relations, legal support services and corporate social responsibility.
After his retirement from full time corporate work, he started his own management consultancy firm- HumanCapital Solutions. His consultancy covers the entire spectrum of the human resources field.
He was the general manager of the Blue Planet Multipurpose Cooperative. They provide manpower support/job contracting services to various institutions in the hospitality and tourism industry.
He was also the vice president for corporate human resources of the China Oceanis Philippines, Inc which owns and operates the Manila Ocean Park, Hotel H2O and the Acquatica Park.
He was also head of human resources of various private sector entities including Macroasia Catering Services, Hotel Stotsenberg, the LausGroup, the LJC restaurant group and the Sulo Hotel, among others.
He was also the past president of the Association of Human Resources Managers in the Philippine Hospitality Industry (AHRM).
He is a product of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.
